Disney Dining: Garden Grill Review

If you are planning your next Disney World vacation and are looking for a fun, delicious character meal then the Garden Grill at Epcot is a must do.

The Garden Grill is located in the Land Pavilion and overlooks the Living with the Land attraction. There are really no negative aspects of this restaurant. Here are some of the added bonuses:

  • This restaurant rotates! That’s right. It isn’t too fast, of course, but you will make a 360 from the start to finish of your meal. You’ll have views of the Land Pavilion and the Living with the Land attraction while you dine.

  • While dining you get to meet some classic character: Mickey, Chip, Dale, and Pluto.

  • The food is delicious! One big plus is that it is an all-you-can-eat, family-style dinner but NOT a buffet. You will get extra helpings of whatever you like! Plus, no need to get up for those extra helpings–it’s brought right to your table.

Our advice would be to make dining reservations in advance for this restaurant. We arrived a little early for our ADR but we were seated on time. They were not taking any walk-up diners so again, book those reservations!

Our meal could not have been better. The Harvest Feast kicks off with a garden salad and delicious hot rolls with honey butter.

Next up, you’ll get three meats: Turkey, Beef, and a fish (our fish was Talapia).

The main course is also served with veggies. We got mashed potatoes and sauteed vegetables. The entire meal was delicious! We ran out of beef and our server brought us more without us even asking. We had bready muffin berry cobbler for dessert and it was very good as well. And, did you know most of the ingredients used to create your meal are organic and come from Disney’s own greenhouse garden (as seen in the Living with the Land attraction)?

The kids meals are plentiful as well. Our child sampled the chicken drumstick, mac n cheese, broccoli, and sweet potato fries.

This meal provides a lot of food for hungry park-goers after a busy day. You will not leave hungry!
