{#WDW} Magic Kindgom’s Best Table Service Restaurant: Plaza Restaurant

It seems like when families plan their Disney World vacation the biggest complaint is that there is not a good “sit down” restaurant inside Magic Kingdom. I know when we have booked dining reservations we tend use our table service credits for eateries outside of the park and several friends duck out to Wilderness Lodge’s Whispering Canyon Cafe or opt for a dinner show.However, we found a delicious restaurant right inside Magic Kingdom that is not to be missed. In our opinion it is one of the most overlooked and underrated spots in the parks!

The restaurant we are talking about is Plaza Restaurant.

This quaint restaurant is right off Main Street and offers some filling, down home menu options. These entrees won’t break your bank either. So if you aren’t on a dining plan, don’t fret–it’s an inexpensive out-of-pocket option.

Our favorite entree of the night was the Meatloaf Meal. For dinner this couldn’t be beat! It was filling, flavorful, and hit the spot after being at Magic Kingdom all day. The Plaza Club was also really good. Other menu items included specialty burgers and salads. Prices range from $11-18/adult entree. The children’s menu is typical–burger, peanut butter sandwich, etc.

{meatloaf and mashed potatoes}

The desserts were wonderful. Sundaes were a favorite for everybody!

{Mickeylodeon-A kid favorite!}

There are several “pluses” to Plaza–location, price, and meal quality. The menu is not extensive, so if you’re looking for a lot of options this would not be the best spot. However, it’s a great place to grab a quick, delicious lunch and watch the parade or have a nice sit down dinner and watch passersby and view Cinderella’s Castle at night. We suggest making an Advance Dinner Reservation for this restaurant due to its smaller size.
