Best Baked Spaghetti

If you’re not a fan of baked spaghetti or if you’ve tried a recipe for this before and you weren’t too impressed we urge you to give this one a try! We’ve made baked spaghetti before and it did not have much flavor. This baked spaghetti recipe is so yummy and makes a large dish so there will be plenty of left overs!

What You Need

1 lb Ground Beef
1 Package Angel Hair Pasta {We used whole grain}
2 eggs, beaten
1 small onion, diced {optional if you’re not an onion fan}
1 half green pepper, diced
1 jar Pasta Sauce {we used Ragu with tomatoes, onion, and garlic}
Dash of Italian Seasoning
1 bag Shredded Mozzerella
Parmesan Cheese {We used Kraft Grated Parmesan}

Fix it Fast

1. Boil water and cook noodles as directed on package. Meanwhile, brown beef and drain excess fat.

2. Place beef in a large bowl. Fry onion and green pepper {you can also add in other veggies, this is just what we had on hand}. Be sure to sprinkle in your Italian Seasoning while the veggies brown. Add sauce to veggies and bring to boil. Add meat and summer 5 minutes.

3. Once noodles are cooked, drain and place in a large bowl. Add beaten eggs to noodles. Mix and coat well. Add 1 cup Mozzarella cheese and sprinkle in some Parmesan to taste. Mix noodle mixture well until cheeses and eggs are blended.

4. Spray a 13×9 baking dish {we used a glass dish}. Pour noodle mixture into dish. Then top with sauce mixture. Sprinkle with remaining Mozzarella cheese and a little more Parmesan cheese.

5. Bake 15-20 minutes at 350. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

This dish can also be cut is half and baked in an 8×8 or 9×9 dish–perfect for new parents who might need a good meal, etc!
