AS A MOTHER OF 2 COLLEGE KIDS. Maclearn HAS BEEN MAKING STROLLERS, WITH GREAT SUCCESS. MY QUESTION IS HOW DID THOSE FINGERS GET THERE? I HAVE FOUND OVER THE YEARS AS HOW THE PUBLIC ALLOWS CHILDREN TO CLIMB INTO DISPLAYED SWINGS, JUMPEROOS, EXERSAUCER, KNOWING THAT THEY ARE NOT A TOY, AND HAVE WEIGHT LIMITS, BUT ALLOW THE CHILD TO PLAY IN IT BECAUSE IT'S CUTE. ONCE YOU REMIND THE PARENT THEY LOOK AT YOU AS NOT CHILD FRIENDLY.FORGET YOUR TRYING TO KEEP THE CHILD FROM HURTING THEMSELVES, BECAUSE THE PARENT DOES NOT HAVE THE COMMON SENSE TO FIGURE IT OUT HERSELF, BUT DISTROYING A DISPLAYED ITEM. AS A MERCHANT MYSELF I DO NOT UNDERSTAND PARENTS NOT TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR WHAT THEY ALLOW A CHILD TO PLAY WITH, AND POSSIBILY RUINING A COMPANIES REPUTATION.

I agree with you. I felt the same way about Jon & the same way about Kate. I hate to see them splitting but it does sound like they are trying to make it as easy on the kids as they can by taking turns being at the house with them. I just feel so badly for Kate mostly. She seems to be taking all the blame here, herself & from others.
